I don’t believe in recovered,
the sickness of past-tense,
removed from my life permanently.
I will always
wake up every morning,
say hello to my demons,
and walk right past them.
There is strength
in the daily fight.
It is in my shadow.

In p.e class we are doing a swim unit and I am so uncomfortable being in a swimsuit in front of my class. I started crying before, during, and after class today. I don't know how I'm gonna make it through the month. I told my mom and teacher and they both basically said get over it. Sorry, I just needed to tell someone
It’s okay, you dont have to apologize. You have every right to be uncomfortable and its not something you should apologize for. I know it’s hard and I know what its like because I went through Something similar. Maybe you can buy a new swimsuit which makes you more comfortable or you can wear the swimsuit more often in your room, stand in front of the mirror and start encouraging yourself. Look at the mirror and say “i am beautiful, I am Sexy”. Believe me it seems ridiculous but its not. By time you’ll actually start feeling better about yourself and more comfortable in your suit. Its gonna take sometime and some work but in the end, you’ll be feeling not only comfortable but happy too and you’ll get to enjoy your time and have fun in your P.E.
I hope this helped somehow. And remember that I ‘ll always be here for you :*
Hi, Menna! I just wanted to say: you have a VERY inspiring story. I see that you struggled very long to come to the conclusion that balance is key. Very proud of you for that! Keep up the great work, stay strong, and have a super day!
Thank you so much! It was a hard journey and I have still got a lot to go but it’s all worth it in the end. I hope you have a great day too!!! :*
Reblog if it’s okay to start talking to you.
